Alsace Tuning Show

After the success of the first editions, the Alsace Tuning Show is returning to the Cité de L'Automobile for the 5th year running on 20 and 21 April next, in partnership with the EB Tuning 68 association. The Alsace Tuning Show will of course still be the most extraordinary show of tuned up cars, lorries and motorbikes.
On the programme: night demonstrations of neon cars in the Autodrome plus other live events.

The art of tuning is a nod to the "customisation" of pre-war vehicles.  At that time already the owner of a vehicle could choose the bodywork and interior to suit his own taste, giving this everyday object unquestionable originality and luxury. Even today, many enthusiasts transform and personalise their cars to make them unique objects, a far cry from the standard vehicles proposed by automobile brands. More than 2,500 visitors are invited to discover 230 cars unique of their kind at the 5th Alsace Tuning Show.

New for 2013: this year, to complete the exhibition of the very best in tuning, an impressive performance has been scheduled: a show by the kings of stunt driving, the art of doing acrobatics at the controls of motorbikes and quads. There will be 6 demonstrations on the programme during the weekend, one of them at night!  These exhibitions will be put on by the "StuntYannick" team, recognised professionals in the world of stunt driving.
This sport originated in the United States in the Eighties and gradually made an appearance in France.  The aim is simple: to do a whole host of acrobatic tricks on the front or rear wheels of the motorbike.

Sunday 21 April

- 1.30 p.m. – 3 p.m.: SPL show (measuring sound)
